Shanelle and Jordan {Bridals}

Shanelle and Jordan hired both Chelsie and I after they decided that they wanted more variety in their pictures.  They were going to hire one of us for the engagements, and one of us for the bridals and wedding.  What they didn’t know at the time, was that Chelsie and I were just getting ready to launch Pure Simplicity.  We were just trying to finish our logo!  haha…  So, after Shanelle contacted me and told me what she had in mind, I knew they were the perfect couple to start with.  And, lucky for us, they were willing too!

So began Pure Simplicity Photography by Christal and Chelsie.  We were so excited!  We had worked together a couple times before with couples and bridals, and we knew that together we made an awesome team.  We inspire each other.  We encourage each other to be more creative and to simply create beautiful pictures.  So, when you are thinking about your wedding photography… think about what you really want.  Hiring 2 photographers allows us to capture those in between moments.  The ones you know you want, but are sometimes hard to recreate.  You get different angles and looks for each shot, and with that comes the emotion and the love that you and your fiance share for each other.  It is hard to put into words what I want to say, but I really am excited and proud of our new journey.  I can’t wait to share it with others!

All that being said… here are the gorgeous images we captured for their bridals.  Shanelle knew what she wanted, and wasn’t afraid to tell us!  Haha… she is a farm girl that has been working with her family since she was just a little girl.  So, she wanted the tractors, barns, etc.  Jordan is a big hunter, and that is why the camo and the shotgun pics!  They are happily married now, and we will soon be posting some of their wedding!  And, keep watching for the launch of Pure Simplicity’s website soon!  It is still a work in progress.  But, feel free to check out our Facebook or Chelsie’s work too.  You can also check out our individual Facebook pages too for more of our work!  Chelsie  or me! :)

Christensen’s {Utah Family Photography}

This family is hilarious!  They were only together the weekend before Christmas, so we were able to sneak them in just before everybody left.  They had a white elephant gift party the night before pictures, and they were showing me their awesome gifts!  One of the gifts (a crab) got out during the night and it was found crawling around in Grandma and Grandpa’s bathroom!  They all are quite the creative bunch when it comes to white elephant gifts!  haha… :)

The morning was freezing, but everybody toughed it out, and we were able to have some fun and get some great pictures too!  Thanks for letting me share in your fun!
